Based in Ithaca, NY, LiUNA Local 785 serves construction craft laborers in the Southern Tier and Finger Lakes regions. Over 800 journeypersons and 30 apprentices comprise its membership. Members are encouraged to take part in free safety and skills training from instructors who are certified by the Environmental Protection Agency; New York State’s Department of Labor, Health, and OSHA; and by the Laborers-AGC. Benefits of membership also include a family healthcare plan, pension plan, annuity, and death benefit.
